A real catalog with sources

1,320 Scento records from 137 houses, imported from its open catalog (snapshot: October 21, 2026). We have also added 25 Arabian houses and 205 niche, designer and independent houses from the 10ML Fragrance Index: 2,653 niche records, 1,600 designer records and 2,334 Arabian records in a collection of 7,278, with exact matches across sources deduplicated. Extended search remains available without an API key or registration. The indexes overlap; we do not add their totals as unique fragrances. No source guarantees coverage of every fragrance worldwide.

We have also added factual data from the public catalogs of Afnan, Lattafa USA and Twisted Lily (checked on October 25, 2026). We have normalized the records and translated some notes. Photos are used only for verified product and version matches with documented usage rights. Otherwise, we show approximate silhouettes based on the manufacturer’s presentation, or an explicitly labeled olfactory interpretation. Records with notes but an unconfirmed concentration or a brief profile receive a provisional score. When no usable notes are available, we offer an alternative record search and a link to the source.

Notes with multiple references

We retain references that were previously discarded when catalogs were merged: 830 records contain note lists from multiple publishers, and 301 include a manufacturer’s page. Each record shows the lists separately, the verified version and which list is used in the calculation. Coverage is partial: not every record is cross-checked between publishers, and two pages may share an original source.

Rules you can inspect

Model v5 compares notes bilaterally, along with family proportions and stages, and places the pair against 10,000 catalog references. Alongside identical notes, it considers relationships between different notes that occur together in catalog fragrances. The score is relative to the catalog. Co-occurrence is not a measure of how pleasant the combination is. You can read the full analysis and audit. Each result shows the calculation, missing data, sensitivity to weights and references. It has not been validated with on-skin tests of these fragrances.

Favorites stay in this browser. Suggestions, analyses, cached searches and ratings are stored in a shared database. We do not add sample reviews or independently verify the reported tests.
